Rotary Endodontics
Used when performing a root canal treatment, rotary endodontics involve an electrically-powered instrument which performs the treatment and replace the traditional stainless-steel manual files. Rotary Endodontics make the root canal procedure faster and more efficient because of the flexibility and unique movement of the nickel-titanium instrument. The instrument can be inserted deeply into a curved root canal without stretching or damaging the passageway.
Apex Locator
Endodontic apex locators or electronic apex locators are used in endodontics to measure the length of the root canal. An important part of canal preparation is the accurate detection of the canal terminus.
This measurement helps determine how far instruments should advance within the root canal and at what point the preparation and filling should stop. Our apex locators give accurate measurements despite fluid conductive like saliva, blood or irrigant.
Prophy Mate
We use the ultra modern Prophy-MateDental Air Polisher after all our cleans to give your teeth a final shine and polish. It is an enhanced air-powered tooth polishing system that works by directing a pressurized polishing powder spray onto the surfaces of the teeth .
Compared to conventional methods, it is gentler on the teeth and gums and at the same time more effective at removing stubborn plaque and stains, especially in hard to reach spaces between the teeth where some of our instruments are unable to clean.
